Ikenami Hamono 7.5-sun (23cm) black-forged

Tanebasami scissors have been produced on the island of Tanegashima since 1543. They are available in four sizes, these are the largest and they are very substantial scissors. They are traditionally used in kimono-making, which requires long, straight cuts of silk and other fine fabrics. They allow the user to cut with confidence right to the very tip of the blades.
