Product Description
Love a good wa-gyuto. It translates to Japanese-style gyuto.
A gyuto by any other name, in a fine Japanese cutlery steel, with a Japanese style wa-handle, forged in Japan by a Japanese craftsman. Wa.
Please note that this is a handmade item shaped without templates or jigs, and the length will vary slightly. The maker Ide san hints at lengths of 240mm to 250mm for his 8-sun blade (sun is a traditional Japanese measurement - 3.03cm or 1.2") and a blade height of around 45mm to 46mm. If precision and predictability is what you're after we can arrange it, though it may require a wait.
