Nihon-to is Japanese for Japanese blade, and we're talking the kind that samurai used to carry about. These are special kitchen knives indeed, produced from tamahagane jewel steel sourced from purely Japanese sa-tetsu iron sand that is smelted, forged, shaped and sharpened by Bizen sword maker Ueta Norihito.
