Product Description

Question: How do you get a black-lipped oyster open so you can pop in that little bead and grow your own perfect black pearl? That's right! A shinju-bocho! It's for prising.

Hayashida Hamono is based in Omura, Nagasaki, and coastal Nagasaki is one of the pearl farming centres of Japan. A local product meeting local requirements.

OK. You're not a Japanese pearl farmer. We get it. But here's an unusual blade with a chunky reinforced handle that we suspect will make a great utility knife (we could be wrong).

Left-handed available: Handle and blade suit both hands
Handle: Sakura (cherry)
