Product Description
Dearest daughter asked for some advice on a gift knife for a friend. "Have you checked the site?" we asked, " yeah, but they all look the same".
We let that one go through to the catcher but we would like to say here and now that many of the knives on Knife Japan may look the same, but they are not the same. So what makes this nakiri different?
The maker, Kono san, is a swordsmith who makes knives, so that's kinda special. And this is his 'toku-sei' special grade nakiri, so it is different by its very nature. Sharpness is... surprising. Even for us.
Toku-sei. Additional hammering, impressive final sharpening, a 'toku-sei' blade stamp. Special!
