- Nojiyama Marunaka Yanagiba-bocho 240mm
Product Description
We do feel particularly fortunate to be dealing with Oita Prefecture's Nakamura Hamono - Nakamura san's Nojiyama Marunaka brand knives represent terrific value.
Case in point, this long and lovely 8-sun yanagiba-bocho in Aogami#2 steel.
Buyers with an eye for style might instead seek a dragon-inscribed mirror-finish blade with a triple-ringed octagonal handle in an exotic timber. With a paulownia case of course. That may be an exciting prospect but at however many times the outlay you won't experience better cutting feel. This sashimi-bocho may be on the plain side in looks but sharpness is deeply satisfying. Another reason to like Nakamura san's knives - the cost-sharpness ratio is difficult to beat.
