- Toyonaga Hamono Premium Yanagiba 240mm
Product Description
As with all the Toyonaga Hamono products we've seen, fit and finish of this yanagiba are of a very high standard. There's something about a polished choil that just does it for us.
Note that the neck of the blade is protected against water ingress at the handle. The general disadvantage of Japanese knives is rust and if it takes hold inside the handle it may result in an eventual failure; caulking at the insertion point is a good preventative measure, especially for a pro-use yanagiba that will likely see some wet work over it's life. Toyonaga san takes care of it as a matter of course.
