Nihon-to is Japanese for Japanese blade, and we're talking the kind that samurai used to carry about. These are special knives indeed, produced from tamahagane jewel steel sourced from purely Japanese sa-tetsu iron sand that is smelted, forged, shaped and sharpened by Bizen sword maker Ueta Norihito.
