- Unshu Yukimitsu Kensaki Petty Knife 150mm
Product Description
There aren't many single bevel kensaki petty knives about, and few as pretty as this one. Our photos really don't do it any justice.
We might have called it a ko-yanagiba, and if you're looking for the shortest sashimi knife you can find this may well be it. But it's usefulness certainly won't be limited to smaller fish. If you're decorative in your vegetable prep, if you're looking to perform some wristy work off the board, if you're simply seeking to enjoy a precision tool in the kitchen it's certainly worth serious consideration.
There's an exactitude to Kusunoki san's work that we like a lot. It's perfectly represented here.
